Be Grateful
I had heard about gratitude jars and journals before but I had never real tried any. This conversation made me realize how it was important to be grateful. In all religions known to man, being grateful is a core tenet in their belief. You will read countless scriptures in holy books about the virtues of saying thank you; even for misfortune. It is one of those things we do that we cannot fully comprehend but it actually works when you decide to work on it.
Most people are grateful for only the big, visible things; so they wait for them to appear before they actually become grateful. However you might not get to the big things simply because you do not acknowledge the many, small wins that lead up to the big success. A regular programme for gratitude will help you realize and celebrate the strides you are making however small and fuel your drive to see the initiative through.
What you’re grateful for grows. This is something that can be inculcated into your personal life, your family, your team at work or in your company culture. I am grateful for the thirty seventh weekly article and I am even more excited that you got to read it. Thank you.

‘Gratitude turns what you have into enough’
I had a conversation with a friend of mine who told me he had started using a gratitude jar some years back and it changed his life. He says that by regularly writing down what he was grateful for every day, he was consciously becoming aware of all the good things happening in his life. Of course there are good days and bad days but in all of them he always finds something however small, to be grateful about. When the jar gets full, he reads all of the notes back to himself. His life has been a blessing since then and he now does it with his wife which has helped them in their relationship too.
