The Lady. The smile. The Good day.

It was not the best of days; one of those times when everything goes haywire. I was headed to the bank to sort out an issue that had been plaguing me for a week.

Phone call rings as I walk. More bad news: some client is not taking our offer because of some reasons I couldn't understand.

I kept having this nagging feeling that I have forgotten something. I just couldn't remember what it was. I had my phone, my wallet....

Am at the bank entrance and I see balloons. I see a smile. She is usually sat at one of the desks. Today she ushered me warmly, gave me some nice gift thing, can't remember what it was.

She asked how she could help with a giant smile on her face. We sat down, she attended to my issue so well, I felt good. I smiled too.

I left smiling; for a fleeting moment, it became a good day.
